Hello, my people! I haven’t posted here as often as I should lately. I’ve been
contributing to a monthly blog for writers over at Tote Bags N Blogs on the 2nd of every month, and my own site has definitely suffered neglect. In 2017, I plan to spout from my brain here more. Not sure that’s a good thing, but keeping current with one’s blog is a more efficient way to maintain one, or so I’ve been told.
I hope you’ve all weathered the insanity of our world lately and haven’t gone screaming naked into the streets yet. I don’t do politics or religion on social media, but I will say that the last few months have shredded my nerves to the point of unfollowing many people for whom I have great respect in other areas of life. It’s crazy-making, that’s what it is. Simmer down now, everyone. Be kind to each other.
Since this is my very own blog, I get to shout my new novel here. I try hard not to be overly obnoxious during promotion time, but if I don’t do it, who will? I do appreciate all the support from fellow authors and friends in getting the word out. I couldn’t keep publishing books without anyone buying and reading them. And a huge thanks to those who take the time to leave reviews.
Click the title on the blue text under the cover photo for more information on pre-ordering. The book will be out in digital and trade paperback formats on March 20th. If you missed the first two books in the Alabama series, Again, Alabama and Love, Alabama, click on the titles to find out more. Much thanks to the team at the Tule Publishing Group for their efforts in getting this baby out. They are fantastic!
I will be a featured author at the Dahlonega Literary Festival March 25 -26th. I’m also schedule to participate in an event at FoxTale Book Shoppe April 29th at 2:00 p.m. with the fabulous Colleen Oakley and Kimberly Belle.
Sales pitch over!
Have a wonderful week, everyone!
I love to hear from you!

Thanks so much, Denise!
I can’t wait to read this next book of yours! I’m doing my best to get the world out on Twitter about it.
I can’t thank you enough, Suzanne!!
Susan, I enjoyed the first two books in this series and I’m looking forward to reading “”Forever, Alabama”. I follow many of my favorite authors on social media and I want to say thank you for steering clear of politics, religion, etc. It can sometimes be a distraction from the quality of their work and actually make a person NOT want to read their work anymore! Thank you for your art and the time and effort it takes to create it!! Good luck on your new release. I just placed a pre-order.
Hi Christine, I know I speak for most authors when I say how much I appreciate your support of our creative efforts. I take the path of using my pages for interacting with friends in a peaceful manner. There’s plenty of conflict all around if that’s what you’re looking for. I discuss my opinions with those I know and trust outside of social media. Thanks for ordering–let me know what you think!!
