From a Small Town to a Small World

 My love of crawfish and Boudreaux jokes often lead to interesting adventures and odd stares from the uninitiated. Today was no different. Because I no longer live in Louisiana, I can be easily misunderstood–or misinterpreted at times. But off I went, dragging my partner in adventure, Cindy. I found a place in Duluth, GA, that promised live and boiled crawfish only twenty minutes from home. I knew this because I’d called around prior to my goose chase. Boudreaux’s Cajun Seafood Market, owned by a nice man named Paul, was my destination. He’d asked on the phone what part of Louisiana I was from. “I was born in Lafayette, but grew up in a tiny town near Toledo Bend Lake called Many. You’ve probably never heard of it.” Of course he hadn’t, right? Oh, but yes Paul Many had. My same small town had been named after his great grandfather, Colonel James B.
